jon and kate Plus 8

I can't believe I just found this show! I'm completely obsessed. The way Kate runs this family is so inspirational. Some days I feel so overwhelmed with a 7 yr. old and a 4 mo. old. Then I watch this show and think, "What the heck am I complaining about!"

I looooove organization and schedules and, lemme tell ya, this gal does both with 8 kids better than I do with 2. Yeah, I know, it's a show and it's edited but even if what half they show is half-way true I'm still impressed.

I also love the fact that her and Jon still seem so in love and completely committed to their family.

I just have to say, I can't wait to grow old with my husband and kids. I can't wait to see my kids have kids.

4 month check up

Brynn has made it to the 4 mo. mark beautifully!!

Stats: 15 lb. 2.5 oz.
24 1/4 in. long

She got 3 jabs in the leg and an oral vaccine. After a 5 min. scream she was fine. Came home and took a nice long nap. Hopefully she won't have to high of a fever this time. Dr. says we can start cereal now and some veggies too!! Can't wait to see how she does.

A Summer Romance...

Logan has been attending VBS this week and here is our conversation from Monday after I picked him up from his first day:

Me: How was VBS today?
Logan: I have a new girlfriend.
Me: Really! How do you know she's your girlfriend? Did you ask her or do you just know?
Logan: Because when we're sitting in the sanctuary all together she looks at me and I look at her. Sometimes we both look at each other at the same time and then we look away.
Me: Ohhh. OK. What's her name?
Logan: I don't know?

Summer Lovin'! How cute! Although I'm not sure I'm ready for the whole Girlfriend thing just yet.

I've always wanted to know how to turn a photo to black and white with only 1 thing in color. I finally learned how! Man, I could really get carried away.
